Well, I guess that settles it.  Did you ascertain whether he was the only Melvin X. Melvin?  Or 
how he managed to last so long with Max Richmond?

BTW, does anyone besides me remember that Melvin X. Melvin also sometimes called himself 
"Melvin X. Ugly"?
