RE: What's JJ up to?
I didn't totally get this, but WLOB is being sold?? And is WRED trying to
buy it?? I got WLOB one day this year via DX (I'll look up the exact date if
you ask), it was broadcasting in stereo, and it is broadcasting with 100kw..
It was "NewsTalk 96.3" (I think).. I don't think WLOB would be a good fit
for a rap format..

My dim recollection is that WWMR was operating in mono, which would
account for your perceived better coverage. The thing is a full class
C (100 kW at ~450 m AAT) so it should have decent coverage over a
pretty wide swath. I looked at the map and couldn't find an obviously
plausible move-in possibility; Rumford is just way too far out there.
(IIRC the WWMR tx is on Black Mtn.)
