Actually the Boston trend was a day late. Whenever you get a trend you can count ahead exactly four weeks and that's the date of the next one - within a day.

The big exception is a seven week gap between the Fall Book date in January and Phase I in February.  That's because Arbitron takes three weeks off between the Fall and Winter books.  They also take a week between the Spring and Summer books.  Being basically a 28-day cycle, the delivery date moves back two or three days each month. In January it can come in the single digits.
