They aren't the only station east of the river that has a K-initiated
callsign; of course, there's KYW in Philly, as well as several others. Also
several W-initiated callsigns west of the Mississippi, including the booming
voice of the Plains, WNAX (which is a great station to listen to, by the
way, though it makes you feel somewhat out in the middle of nowhere when
listening to five-state weather forecasts).
Is there a website anywhere that chronicles K callsigns in the East and W
callsigns out West?
