Another question comes to mind. It was said here earlier that cable
systems in New York are getting a direct feed from the studios of the
stations, and thus are still carrying them. But, is that only the
cable systems in the city proper, or are they relayed by microwave to
the cable systems in the suburbs too? And what about the outer
suburbs, do they get a feed.
I wonder if cable systems in the areas approaching the Catskills have
switched from NY stations to the Albany ones, if systems in parts of
NJ have switched to the Philly stations, etc.?
