RE: Coverage of Press Conference
I admit.. i am liberal-leaning because my parents are die hard liberals..
but when YOU insult ME or MY COUNTRY.. i get totally off about it..
insulting America is like insulting me.. I realize I need to chill
sometimes.

Whoa, Adam. You are at it again with the inflamatory
remarks! I believe that America is the greatest country
in the world, but that doesn't mean that I think
everything about the country is great. George W Bush
gives no sensible person much reason to feel proud of
America. Many question whether someone with such
obviously limited intelligence is qualified to serve as
president. A majority of Americans didn't think he was
the better qualified of the two major candidates and
hence didn't vote for him. His positions on every
important issue seem unabshedly self-serving.
One of the functions of the president is to act as a
figurehead--that's a function that doesn't require an
inordinate amount of intelligence. Alas, yesterday Bush
completely failed at even that part of his job. Unlike
King George VI of England, who put himself in harm's way
by touring London to give support and encouragement to
his beleagured countrymen during the height of the Nazi
blitzkrieg of World War II, W was notably absent from DC
during the worst of yesterday's carnage and uncertainty.
