I wonder how that bodes for Don and Mike here in York, PA, at WOYK (1350). Currently, the station is all ESPN Radio except for MRN's NASCAR broadcasts, pro and college football, high school sports, and Don and Mike from 3 to whenever. I don't think the station's ownership, Red Rose Broadcasting, on the most solid financial footing; from what I understand they were desperately seeking sales reps in recent months and Red Rose is leasing out its other station, WPDC (1600) Elizabethtown, to a Hispanic group. (Elizabethtown's signal barely penetrates any Hispanic population center in Harrisburg, Lancaster or York.) I doubt they could afford the fees to air Don and Mike and Opie and Anthony.

The move makes it possible now for Infinity to really make a hot-talk network effective, with the tamer Don and Mike on afternoons and book-ended by Stern and Opie and Anthony. Could WBCN go talk and shift Nik Carter back to nights? Hmmmmm...
