Monsignor Frank McFarland Has Died

   Monsignor Frank McFarland, the director of the Boston Catholic Television
Center has passed away at the age of 69, according to an obituary I saw in
today's (7/18) Boston Herald. The Boston Catholic Television Center produces
the Sunday Mass that airs on WHDH (Channel 7) and the Daily Mass that airs
Monday-Friday on WPXB (Channel 68). Monsignor McFarland  was a familiar face
to many as he would appear at the beginning of Sunday Mass to introduce the
celebrant and other participants, and occasionaly would celebrate the daily
Masses.
