Re: BBC WS stops shortwave broadcasts to US

This week's edition of NPR's "On the Media" covered the impending BBC
shortwave shutdown.  An audio link is available on the show's web page
(Start listening at 20 minutes into the 52-minute program.)

In case it hasn't been mentioned, BBC World Service (the "Features and
Music" channel, even) is carried on the second audio program (SAP) of
cable channel C-SPAN 2. 

Also, World Radio Network's WRN1 channel is carried on C-SPAN's SAP. A
schedule is available at http://www.wrn.org/ondemand/ .
