Channel 62 Won't Be Building a DTV Facility Anytime Soon

I spotted a very small story tucked away inside today's
Wall Street Journal...05/07/01, pg B4:
Shop at Home, Inc Board Fires President...Citing Two
Years of Losses.
The story went on to say that J.D. Clinton will
serve as interim president (using th title "Chairman"
so no one will call him President Clinton to avoid the
opprobrium.
Losses had zoomed from just over $3-million in FY99
to over $13-million in FY2000.
Whenever I've peeked at the outlet, some loudmouth with
a raspy voice has been hustling baseball cards, 
seemingly a less-profitable line than home electronics,
exercise equipment and sex toys on other shop at home 
channels.  Their local O&O, WMFP-TV 62 probaly hasn't
been making the combined nut of rent on One Beacon 
Street and some of the higher electricity costs outside
of CA.  Could a sale of the frequency be in the 
offing?
