Benefits for WMFO's Dee

Good story in today's Globe about Mikey Dee, a strong
supporter of Boston's local rock scene who had been a
longtime DJ at WMFO as well as a writer in local
"zines". When Dee was undergoing surgery to correct
a congenital heart defect, he contacted the rare
"locked-in" syndrome and is now unable to speak,
walk, or move.

Many local bands will perform at area clubs over the
next few days to raise money for him.
