Ah yes, that would probably be the guy behind Tickle
Spider Radio.
I don't recognize the field behind him in the pic.
By the way, "Dave Harrison" (name that popped up
in his post) mentioned SubGeniuses
(SubGenii?). For those unaware, the Church of the
SubGenius is the parody religion started by Ivan
Stang in Texas in the late 70s; offering "eternal
salvation or triple your money back", the SubGenii
have been on radio all over the country (including
a long-running show on KPFA in Berkeley, CA).
They "preached" that the "Rupture" would occur
on July 5, 1998, but when it didn't come they claimed
it would really take place in 8661 (1998 upside
down).
Anyway, the zany antics of Tickle Spider Radio
sure sound like it's in the tradition of the Church
of the SubGenius, which "worships" a piece of clip
art named J.R. "Bob" Dobbs.
