I've been watching ESPN's coverage of the NFL draft today while doing stuff around the house (don't know if anyone else had nothing to do) and this must be the worst-ever production of a live event I've ever heard on a major TV broadcast outlet. I've seen reporters on-camera not realize they were on camera, producers' mikes somehow coming out over the air, announcers' mikes hot and the announcers speaking before ESPN came in from commercials, and graphical screwups. Also, their coverage seems a lot more superficial than in past years -- more analysis than actually mentioning who was drafted. 

Anyone else have comments?
