Back in the mid 80s when they were doing an oldies format, I remember
hearing them (550) in the car on Rt. 3 almost to Nashua. Around the state
line they fairly quickly faded into a jumble of signals. WDEV doesn't make
it much south of Concord. This was with an aftermarket car stereo with the
usual pathetic AM section...a good radio like a Delco might have held it
further.
