Re: changes at WRKO and WTKK

It was just as fun to hear Moe on during the snow
storm as it was during the election fiasco, and more
than a few listeners told him they wish he'd be on
more (right now he only does the Sunday morning
gardening show). During those nights, Moe managed to
pre-empt "Not-A-Doctor" Laura as well.

WRKO is really doing the bare minimum of local talk
(mornings 6 to noon, and supposedly Howie Carr's
last hour is "local") in favor of syndie talk.
It's been mentioned here that "the Divas" run in
the morning because they think more people would
listen to local talk during the morning, as
opposed to evenings post-Howie.

Will a liberal's talk show fly during that 10-midnight
slot? WRKO did have Stephanie Miller on that time
slot until her syndicator pulled the plug. It's too
bad that Steph wasn't around to have fun with that
whole election controversy.
