Agreed. Staring at a crawl line doesn't lend itself to attending to
other images or messages on the screen.  Can't think of a better way to
do it except for an 80/20 vertical split with cancellations to the right
in a slow scroll.  As for radio, if a station's going to do it, it
should be done correctly - no jokes, clear and first in the segment.
