If satellite radio *really* takes off my bet is that some public broadcasters
will dump NPR and form their own ad-hoc networks producing original programming
for exclusive distribution on affiliated stations.  Then again, you can already
get much of that stuff over the Internet (often on-demand) for free, and I
don't think NPR affiliates are suffering all that much because of it.
