Each diarykeeper in the Boston metro represents about 1500 listeners. If a
diarykeeper writes down the wrong set of call letters, or makes a mistake
writing the station's name, it can hurt a station tremendously.
It's a free mistake for the diarykeeper, however. He or she still gets to
keep the dollar.
Regarding "bleeping" of enemy call letters, all it takes is a simple flick of
a button to enable digital delay, which corrects itself in seconds.
