This may be a first in Boston radio history. The Herald today has a story
written by Jim Baker that says that infamous caller "Butch from the Cape"
is seriously ill and has in his words a 1 in 5 shot of beating his cancer.

Still Butch has been part of WEEI since they became a sports station and
he did have a way of getting reactions from hosts and other listeners.

I hope he beats it and lives to see the Red Sox win it all.
