Dan,
   can not defeat the HTML on my installed AOL program,
but by logging onto the AOL Anywhere (whether in the 
newsroom or, like now, at my in-laws), the mail windows
are plaintext.  
   otherwise, as i sent out in the test, i'm assuming 
that since it went through, my "go mail" account is 
plaintext enough...
