Brokaw's losing it, too.  He "corrected" Doris Kearns Goodwin tonight about
Nixon's gubernatorial concession speech in 1962, insisting it was 1964!  What a
goof.  I'll take Rather's corny sayings anyday.  Russert's great, though--he
should be anchoring these events solo!  Thank goodness David Brinkley is
relegated to pimping for ADM--does anyone else remember what a total
embarassment he was during his last convention appearance?
