Just read in this AM's Rutland (Vt.) Herald that WRMC (91.1 MHz,
Middlebury College) is slated to go from 100 watts to 2.9 kW on (I
think) 11/12 at 10:30 a.m.  They expect the footprint to cover a great
deal of Addison Cty. and into Rutland Cty as well as northward into
the Burlington area.  The article describes the station as one of the
most longstanding orgs. on campus, primarily free-flowing, with
initiatives to increase training and performance standards.  The
implication is that with the increase, they'll be going for the
underwriting dollar.

Did they change xmtr/stick/loc. for the incr.? No word of COL change.

Also, read Scott's NERW a couple of weeks ago that said that WRRO
(93.7 Addison) was sold.  No talk of that locally.  Any info on the
buyer?  The WRRO/WFAD studio sign still lists a signal at 100.7 (which
is long-gone).
