        Except that's one area where they've haven't shown much yet. Maybe
he's planning to spend on the signal upgrade first, then go to that. But a
local owner just doesn't have the deep pockets of the chains, and a large
paid ad campaign, etc., is very expensive in such a big market.

        If you're saying he builds Ashland, then decides he has to do
something else instead, that's the kind of spending that leads to ruin.
Also, although I believe Dan Strassberg said in his post that KYW is a
Class B station, it's Class A, and that really limits what can be done on
1060 at night. Not to mention that something like finding a new antenna
site is very tough nowadays because of the difficulty in getting local
approvals.
