That would have been WLUX-540 in Islip, LI, NY.  Killer signal for 500 watts, 
or whatever it is.    I heard it (groundwave... always there) in Virginia 
Beach, VA. with a listenable signal.   The 540 in Pocomoke City , Md was not 
even a factor.
