Anyone who knows how CBS operates knows they don't get it for free. Each
station is a seperate money making machine. The Patriots deal cost a bundle
If you think BCN can report a loss to Mel for long you don't know Mel.
Network stations all pay... I'm sure if two stations want the rights a CBS
station might win out but no one rides for free. Now they may also have been
told to put it on but they where also told to make it work. Much like BCN
was with the Pats and Stern. Do think BCN dosen't pay for Stern? Of course
they do. That's the CBS way.
