With Joyner arriving to WILD-AM on the 28th, I am wondering if Radio
One will bring ABC's The Touch for rest of the day...Since they're
LMAing WILD from Nash, it kind of makes sense for them to keep
AM's payroll on the lean side and put most of their resorces
into their o+o FM operation(WBOT 97-7). Midday and afternoon drive
on WILD are mostly music anyway, so replacing them with syndicated
service such as The Touch wouldn't really make much of a difference
for listeners in those dayparts. However, blowing up a local AM drive
show will definitely be felt by loyal WILD listeners...
