Weather radio's 'Sven' voice wins few friends

NOAA is in the process of phasing out human voices on NOAA Weather Radio and 
will soon have a computer generated voice doing all forecasts on NOAA Weather 
Radio.  The move is being justified as a time saving move from employees that 
is necessary due to budget cuts in recent years.  According to today's 
Portland Press Herald, this move is not popular among listeners:

It is interesting to me that it is the government that is eliminating human 
voices from the airwaves, not the evil corporate broadcasters that so many of 
you rail against...
