Word on the street is that CC looked at the Cumulus cluster in Bangor
before buying Eastern Radio's group.
I agree that it would be more likely that CC would do a deal with the WMTW
Broadcast Group than to take over Saga's or Citadel's properties in the
Portland market.  CC has a tendency to take over marginal properties in
smaller New England markets and turn them into, erm, marginal properties
with different formats and staff. :)  I wonder if they'll do anything in
the Augusta/Waterville market while they're at it?
