Yes, WMEX is all over it today but where were they all
weekend??? With an exception of Metro's news updates(top and bottom
of each hour), their brokered specailty shows ran as
scheduled all weekend...
I believe WRKO's news boss Rod Fritz relieved Goldman
Maroney at 5 or 6 and stayed on till about 8pm...TKK's
paged most of its regulars on Saturday. Jay Severin
came on at 11am, followed by Jim Braude at 2pm and
Jeanine Graf closed off the day from 5pm to 7pm...'TKK
and 'RKO both stuck with syndie/specialty talk all of
Sunday...
WBZ aired ABC Radio's 1-hour news special at 8pm on Saturday,
but a much bigger local story("Logan Logjam") impacting
thousands of local air travelers over one of the busiest
weekends of the year was put on a backburner, IMHO.
Also, WBZ's Norm Resha leased-time sports show aired
as usual from 5 to 8pm...

I believe the "May" sweeps kick off on Thursday.
