I couldn't have said it any better myself. 
 I'm thinking back to the 70's/80's era; with reel/reel systems we had
at Armed Forces Radio Adak, Alaska.  Nowadays with Digilinks, computers,
CD carousels; it's a whole new ball-game.  But the main thing I was
emphasizing was that there  is a person live, behind the mike who can
actually look at the clock and say it's twenty-two minutes after the
hour..of TWO!.
