The Boston BOZO ( Frank Avrauch) was the syndicated one for most of the
60's. It was the Boston version that was carried on WPIX in New York.

56 some 10-15 years ago was rerunning the old WHDH tapes..........

Some of the later Mudd tapes still exist on 3/4 inch ( 1972 or so)

The oldest complete show I have seen is a Big Brother show from around 1955
( complete with Jack Chase and SLIM PICKINS doing weather) which featured
Ted Williams and Joe Dimaggio for the Jimmy Fund. I suspect that is why WBZ
made a kinny of it.

Popeye was a staple of Uncle Gus on WMUR which had a good size following
north of Boston......

People remember kid shows....this was proven when people remembered
