You are right, most hours WCAP takes the network feed a few minutes prior
to the hour and plays it back at the top of the hour this gives us the
option of taking a one or two minute ABC newscast.  The exception would
be for special coverage of events such as Super Tuesday.  Those feeds are
carried live from ABC and are fed at 00:00:30 and 00:30:30 so the news
anchor has to talk up to the live feed.
