In the Legal Notices published in the Boston Globe
dated February 2, 2000, pg D12,  Fairbanks 
Communications let it be known that they plan to 
make the following major changes to WKOX-AM:
operate with a power of 50KW day and night;
move the transmitter to Saw Mill Brook Parkway in
Newton;  and change the City of License to 
Newton, MA.  Sounds like a new Boston station to me.
