Tai has mentioned his name on WRKO...he explained that
his nickname was his initials, then gave his real
name.
He got the "Tai" name to avoid confusion with another
DJ named Tom at a station he worked for.

One other "nom d'aire" was revealed in a Boston
Phoenix article many years ago (an article about talk
radio) when they mentioned that Jerry Wiliams had been
born Gerald Jacoby.
