Yes, I remember when "Nifty 1150" picked up some
sports due to conflicts. I also know that sometimes
smaller suburban stations like WESX in Salem and
WJDA in Quincy might pick up events like the Stanley
Cup Finals (when the Bruins aren't involved-- and
they usually aren't!) or CBS Sunday afternoon football
games.
