Remember him well.  I aired it on WVOR-FM (Rochester NY) in 1975, and the 
show was insanely boring, but older people loved it; because it was 
non-controversial and just very light.    It killed itself , though, when 
after going national, it was loaded up with so many commercials (mostly for 
Jepko nightlights and other plastic trash), there was very little of a show 
left.   It was offered over Mutual Broadcasting System, and when Mutual execs 
finally got numbers in after 2 years, they replaced him with someone more 
exciting, Larry King.    Herbie was back on KSL-only.
