Too easy. :) Seriously, my suspicion is that they arranged for the
location, realizing that they had the ad in-view too late to arrange for a
new position. Speculation only.

I watched the same show (taping PBS and CNN), and you're right, the NBC ad
did show a few times in the wide shots.
