Women on the air

A while ago Donna complained about the lack of female air personalities in
key air shifts.  In Thursday's Globe TV & Radio section there's an
interview with WXRV's PD Joanne Doody where she comments on that.  Couldn't
find a link to it on the Globe's website, but the gist of it was that, as
much as she'd like to see women on-air outside of "traditional" female
shifts (ie mid-days, evenings), she doesn't feel that women sound right in
drivetime slots, and don't seem to be well-received by listeners when the
do those shifts.
