Mayer or Meyer

Folks:

Let me try to give you some straight info on the M's. "Muck" Meyer worked
with Larry, and so did I. Both were wonderful people and still are (not
many in this business qualify for such accolades anymore).

Kenny Mayer wrote the column for the old Herald or Record American. He also
did the late night radio show....often from an eatery. One of them was
Ken's Steak House where he evidently had his own table and remote set-up.
Good gig and a free meal were probably the reasons why. I seem to remember
a remote site in Brookline too. And of course, there was the room at his
home. The guy was a poor man's Walter Winchell.

Cannot recall the calls, but WMEX and perhaps BUR were involved. He was on
air into the early 70's (at least), and then I lost track of him.

Happy New Year to all.

Bruce
