no radio list for the century?

I read in the Washington Post and also in several other papers that their 
radio and TV columnists compiled lists of the top local radio and TV events 
of the century-- they admitted it was really for about the past 50-60 
years, but still, it brought back a lot of memories for people, I am sure. 
I wonder if we could compile such a list-- major stories or events that 
radio covered, major changes in radio that affected us personally, etc... I 
am surprised that neither newspaper in Boston did this-- or if they did, I 
haven't seen it.  While many of us take radio for granted, we all grew up 
with it and were affected by it deeply... many of us still are affected by 
it.  Sooooo, any nominations for major Boston radio events of the century?
