Y2K Paranoid?

Would it be a kick if, at the stoke of midnight New Year's Eve, a network 
pulled the plug for just a few seconds?  Shades of War of the Worlds to 
follow up?  No sense of humor for any network in today's era to be sure. 
What would happen if WWV did the same thing?  While in both cases heads 
would probably roll, it would be fun to observe an event such as 
this.  Sort of like the radio stunts that traditionally abound during April 
first broadcasts around the country, just a little early.
