it seems they're playing music that more people might recognize.  i have to 
agree with the yawn.  if you're going to spend five days stunting with the 
computer and hyping to the press (tv & print) and building all of this 
excitement... and then.... ???
in regards to some of the technical problems, you almost (almost, he says 
here, Dan <g>) have to feel sorry for Lori.  by her own admission, she 
christened the new format and studio (?) with a cup of coffee.  hence the 
required presence of Gene T and magic pliers.  that's why, boys and girls, 
management and engineering really, really don't want you drinking coffee in 
the studio.  in the good old days, the console was more of an elevated 
device, whereas today's newer, micro-chip filled devices are nice and flat, 
making them more prone to disaster when subjected to a tipped cup'o'joe.  
(but i'm still confused as to why we have the nice Denon Cup Holders in the 
studios...  i'm kidding, boss.  really.)
