There are a couple of ways to do this.  One way is to sue all of them.  At 
least that keeps them from all passing the buck to the ones you didn't 
sue.  Another way is to sue the most likely ones, then use discovery 
(depositions, interrogatiries, etc.) to find out which one is the right 
one, and then amend the complaint to add that one as a party.  One subset 
of this method is to sue the parent company, if you can figure out which 
one it is, and use discovery to find out which other corporations should 
be in the suit.
