This is a _bad_ idea.  Rush is an entertainer, a 
performer.  His entertainment value is partly in 
his delivery.  He knows exactly when to pause and 
thump the table.  A machine that removes the pauses 
would affect the whole presentation.  

What effect would something like this have had on 
the Jack Benny show?

Here's a much better idea... use it to speed up the 
commercials so the host gets more minutes in every 
hour.
