actually, they have...  take a rookie account executive, sit them in front of 
a couple of training videos, then let them play with TapScan.  the computer 
designs the demographic marketing plan.  all the young a/e needs to do is get 
in the door to make the pitch.  sales is not necessarily the human art it 
used to be.  it's still tough though, and i don't envy any of the people 
currently doing what the best they can.  there are some a/e's trained in the 
"olde ways", of actually relying on a reasonable mixture of truth and b.s. to 
set up, make, and close the deal.  to them, i tip my hat.  to the others, i 
hope they'll watch and learn...
