Recent postings about WMTW's news and anchors etc, have me wondering WHY
are they moving their transmitter off  Mt.Washngton  to Sebago/Baldwin
area? Is Mt.Wash. just to expensive for them to run with digital on the
horizon? Who's going to fill in the ABC void across Northern NH, VT and
Southern Quebec? 

One note of interest I heard during a Maine Public Radio call-in
concerning the Digital PBS bond issue a couple of weeks ago was that
Maine PBS was interested in sharing the new tower, IF it gets up for
their future digital broadcasts..that from Rob Gardiner himself.
But several callers from the area commented there was considerable
opposition against the new tower.

By the way... is Marty Engstrom still doing reports from atop Mt.Wash?
WMTW rarely makes it this far down the coast..
