Easy but lazy fix.  Buy a 40$ analog-tuned car radio/tape machine at radio

or for a bit more - there's one that's also analog tuned that has a
removable face (for theft protection).  I don't vouch for their
performance, however... but considering how nasty these modern-day car
radios can be to work on (just like walkmans - they weren't meant to be
fixed but to be thrown out when the time comes), it's just better you get
a new one.

Or pick up a radio only unit that will fit your car at a scrap yard.  

Don't leave the suuperadio in the car.  It's probably worth more than the
car itself and it's not worth getting your window cracked out by someone
trying to steal it :-)

not to mention that since it's going to be shielded by the car's body, you
won't be getting good reception - especially on MW.
