The Taister did his last show on Friday. He paid
a tribute to many local comics who made it big in recent
years. He played cuts from Tony V. and Johnathan Katz when
they came on the show. At some point he even mentioned that in the past 2.5
years his nighttime show served as a launching pad for many local
comics. That's a stretch considering that Mark Parenteau
was really the first DJ in Boston who helped to
put Boston comics on the map while he was at 'BCN.
