In-between CKIS 980 and CKGM 990 (slight shift in frequency when they went
to 50kw)...it was CKGM 990 Talk Radio With Attitude...which was an absolute
flop...it was reported that more people would have listened to a bullhorn
in the city's main subway station than were tuned in to their morning
show...which was a shame, in fact, since L. Ian Macdonald, a political
insider from the Mulroney era, newspaper columnist and man-about-town, had
the most articulate, thought-provoking few hours of local radio in the city...
