Re: The Red Sox

Another news media blooper: Tuesday's Herald said that
the Sox were going to the American League Championship
Series for the first time since 1986.
Wrong: the Sox played the A's in the 1990 ALCS, with
the A's sweeping them in four games (Roger Clemens was
tossed out of game 4 by umpire Terry Cooney). The A's
then lost 4 straight to the Reds in the World Series.
